How do you know when your house or property is hazardous and should be rewired?

A good indication would be the surrounding properties built at the same time that have been or are being upgraded.

Have you got extension leads permanently in place?

Extension leads have, and always will be a temporary solution, and should not be kept in continuous use as they are a well known fire hazard.

Rewiring is something that helps protect against fire by bringing your property up to the latest building standards and the current edition of the wiring regulations BS7671.

A safe electrical installation will protect you, your family, and your property against fire and electrocution, ultimately automatically disconnecting any faulty wiring or faulty equipment that is hazardous.

Most homes or dwellings have a loose socket or even a flex on an appliance that works when held a certain way.

These are all potential risks and should be addressed.

All we ask is that you at the very least call us with a view to having an electrical test carried out to confirm your required action.

We will give our best advice each and every time.
